TIGER MOTH BIPLANE

TIGER MOTH BIPLANE FLIGHTS take place on calm Summer evenings from May until the end of August.

A SUNSET PATROL FLIGHT IN A TIGER MOTH’ FLYING OVER THE NORTH DEVON BEACHES USED BY THE AMERICAN FORCES PRIOR TO ‘D’ DAY

A wonderful opportunity to take to the air in a Vintage Tiger Moth for your ‘Sunset Patrol’ flight over the North Devon Beaches used by the American Forces prior to ‘D’ DAY.  These aircraft were used during World War 11 by the Royal Air Force to train its pilots to eventually go on to fly Spitfires and Hurricanes.  For flying enthusiasts or absolute beginners, there is no greater thrill than flying in the open cockpit of a Tiger Moth.  Experience the wind in your hair as you take the controls with your Instructors guidance, enabling you to fly around the wonderful North Devon countryside in this iconic British aircraft.

Join those who coined the term ‘Magnificent Men (and Women) in their Flying Machines’ and step back to that era for a nostalgic memorable flight.
